[FR] Zouk Out est ma conception personnelle d’un jazz aux influences caribéennes. Il respecte nos traditions musicales rythmées par ce puissant marqueur originel qu’est le tambour. Moins populaire que ses consœurs insulaires hispanophones et anglophones, les syncopes propres aux Antilles françaises n’en sont pas moins mélodieuses. Zouk Out, c’est le reflet d’un jazz introspectif rendant hommage aux origines du zouk, à mon peuple. C’est l’expression de ce que je suis, un jazzman proche de ses racines, qui invite à la découverte de phrasés authentiques résolument modernes.

[EN] Zouk Out is my personal conception of a jazz with Caribbean influences. It respects our musical traditions, which are punctuated by the powerful original marker of the drum. Less popular than its Spanish-speaking and English-speaking island sisters, the syncopations specific to the French West Indies are no less melodious. Zouk Out is a reflection of introspective jazz that pays tribute to the origins of zouk, to my people. It is the expression of who I am, a jazzman close to his roots, who invites you to discover authentic and resolutely modern phrases.
